Force Curve Analysis
The Force Curve Analysis Module has dedicated tools for analyzing force curves and force volume images. Calculate Young´s Modulus in just at few mouse clicks.
SPIP™ transforms deflection data into e.g. Force vs. Separation curves and automatically detects adhesion force, snap-in force, detachment separation etc.

SPIP™ provides automatic fitting of either the Hertz or the Sneddon model for extracting Youngs modulus from indentation curves. For pulling experiments SPIP™ contains automated procedures for detecting rupture events and for fitting “Worm-Like Chain” (WLC) models to each event. In addition SPIP™ calculates the unloading rate at rupture.

SPIP™ displays force volume images both as constant height and as constant force projections. In addition SPIP™ helps yous create adhesion maps, separation distance maps, elasticity maps (Young´s modulus) and a number of other images from the data.

When analyzing large series of force curves, a combination with the Batch Processor & Active Reporter can be a real time saver
